Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management
Theragen is looking for a revenue cycle leader to manage the medical billing of the company's Neurotech brand of medical devices. As the Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle for our growing company, you will be responsible for the management of the revenue cycle team as well as reporting the department's operations to senior executives. CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:7+ years experience managing teams engaged in submitting medical billings to Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance as well as managing payor responsesSolid knowledge of medical revenue cycle, including front-end claims scrubbing, rejection management, denial management, and posting managementWillingness to work in a small venture-backed company and acknowledgment of need for cross-team collaborations and continuous improvementExperience with a DME provider in a billing functionHistory working with payor medical guidelines and prior authorization requirementsPrior experience in reporting revenue cycle metrics to executivesExperience working and managing work in a billing software preferably Brightree PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES . Manage the daily operations of the Inside Sales team which focuses on order entry, prior authorization, and patient relationships . Manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable team which focuses on claim denials, corrections, resubmissions, and patient payment . Report weekly metrics on department performance to executive team and finance group . Train new inside sales and accounts receivable team members . Collaborate with sales management to troubleshoot reimbursement issue . Focus and prioritize efforts for continued process improvement inside the department . Provide active guidance on payor medical policy and changes to the Revenue Cycle Team and sales force . Collaborate with the reimbursement contracting department on contracting strategies and networking focus . Coordinate work with outside collection agencies on recovery of outstanding balances and overdue accounts . Perform quarterly performance reviews of revenue cycle team . We are operating a revenue generating business following the acquisition of Neurotech NA in August 2015. This provides the Company with best-of-class neuromuscular electrical (NMES) stimulation technologies focused on pre- and post-surgical treatment of ligament repair and total knee replacement (TKR) patients. The device has been demonstrated to accelerate healing of patients undergoing these procedures.
