We are seeking a Network Engineer to become an integral part of our team. Will be responsible for providing Voice Network Engineering support for an Enterprise level Voice and Video IP Network. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Installation, configuration, operation management of Cisco Call Manager System for a complex Enterprise IP Voice and Video Network. - Production support, administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing infrastructure support for the existing secure voice system. - Leads or is part of the networking team in order to carry out the set of duties that are assigned and allotted to the team. - Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; - Schedules upgrades; collaborates with network architects on Voice Network optimization. - Reports network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects. - Troubleshoots large enterprise voice networks in a timely manner. - Performs 24x7 emergency troubleshooting and repair of systems impacting or risking impact to critical operations. - Other duties as assigned. Required: - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Voice/Collaboration or higher level Ce1tification. - Must possess appropriate current DoD Information Assurance (lA) Certification to be considered for employment, either CompTIA Security+CE OR CCNA-Security. - Proficient in VoIP infrastructure and protocols- SIP, MGCP, SCCP and SRTP. Cisco Unified Communication Manager vl0.5 and above. - Experience in Cisco Unified Call Manager Express and High Availability solutions. - Minimum 3-5 years' experience providing and implementing network infrastructures and must have experience developing, operating, and managing a secure VoIP environment. - Takes ownership of assigned tasks: motivated to improve system design, performance, and overall user experience. - Strong understanding of Network Management implementation and Voice network security and encryption. Understanding of integrating Voice networks in DoD environments. - Experience with implementation and management of Cisco Call Manager servers. - Experience with the implementation and management of Cisco Prime Collaboration and modules. Understanding the interfacing routers/switches with encryption devices. - Excellent oral and written communications skills. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
