Community Support Staff - Special Education Para-Professional
The Community Support Staff (CSS) is a teaching para-professional position working one on one or in a small group with students who have emotional and behavioral disabilities. The CSS is a teacher/tutor, mentor, and job coach. CSS coordinate lesson plans with certified special education teachers and behavioral support with licensed therapists at the school site. Work with the student takes place primarily in the community. It is a Full Time, 10-month position. Requirements:Must have a Bachelor's Degree in education or a related field (such as Criminal Justice).Experience with young adults in individual or group settings is essential. Experience with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities is preferred.Must have a car, valid driver's license and safe driving recordPatience, dependabilty.
