Basic Qualifications :Bachelors in Computer Science or relevant technical degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience.In depth and working knowledge of:* Cloud environments, technologies, and applications* Agile Development Methodologies* C/C++ code development, integration and test* JAVA code development, integration and test* Subsystem integration and testThis position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, US citizenship is required.Responsibilities for this Position:General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Architect. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's core defense/intelligence services and systems. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.* Support DoD SIGINT program pursuits and execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the assessment of the system level functional and performance requirements and the definition of software system implementation strategies.* Working closely with the RF/DSP engineering and capture teams to perform trade studies pertaining to the development of the control, status, varied analytic application infrastructure and execution, along with operator visualization functionality. The software functionality will entail architectures and concepts that facilitate the real-time operation of the system as well as the open architectural model that allows for the seamless integration of third party/COTS applications.* Configurational, Preliminary, and Detailed Design and integration strategies involving the Cloud based environment that enables the seamless integration of analytic and DSP software products. Derive software requirements from customer requirements as well as perform analysis and simulation/modeling.* Development of buildup, integration and system level test approaches and plans.* Evaluate Customer requirements as they apply to the system level capabilities to include preparation and delivery of customer briefings and capability demonstrations.* Support business development activities through analysis of customer and market requirements and comparison against GD-MS product lines along with other vendor products/capabilities.
