We are hiring Sr. Security Analyst in Washington, DC Job Title: Sr. Security Analyst Location: Washington, DC Duration: Full Time Required Skills: MA/MS with 13 technical experience years & 8 years' experience in specialty discipline at senior levels / management preferred or BA/BS and 16 years with 10 years at senior levels / management equivalent.Possess a Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) Certification.Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certificate.Familiar with a variety of the IT security field's concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.Extensive experience in network and database security.Knowledgeable of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publications.5 or more years of experience in installing, configuring, and administering intrusion detection and prevention systems.Knowledgeable in the areas of application, data, and web security.5 or more years of experience in network security/vulnerability scanning and monitoring.Knowledgeable of Windows 2000, Windows 2003, and Sun/Solaris 8, 9, and 10 operating systems, Oracle database administration, JBoss, Microsoft and Sun Operating Systems, Linux Redhat, VERITAS backup, Citrix remote access solutions, ColdFusion system administration, Cisco Firewalls, Lumension, AD, DNS and Video Conferencing.Knowledge of Point Sec Encryption, Snort Intrusion Detection Systems, Websense, Web inspect, Security Tools such as SAINT, Nessus, McAfee e-Policy Orchestra Server, Hyperion Server and Web Hosting.Knowledgeable in Oracle 9i or 11 database systems.Understanding of Privacy Act of 1974.7 or more years of experience risk analysis and management.Desktop publishing software.Word processing, graphic, and spreadsheet packages in a microcomputer environment.Experienced in developing hypertext or on-line help applications, Structured documentation techniques or other industry-wide standards.5 or more years of experience with using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, and Adobe products. Job Duties: Prepare, plan, write, and/or maintain documentation pertaining to IT security.Develop IT security policies, procedures, and guidelines for ETA Information Systems and applications.Review IT security documentation, policies, procedures, guidelines, System Security Plans, Risk Assessment, and so forth.Prepare security documentation for the ETA internal website.Perform research and analysis and then write security documents including Security Plans, Policies, Training, Disaster Recovery, Risk Analysis, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) - prepare and get the C&A packages approved.Provide support for the installation, upgrades, configuration changes, and monitoring of network security systems (eg, firewalls, email, spam filtering appliances, web proxies, router ACLs, and network based intrusion detection systems.Perform user account reviews (eg, recertification of system accounts).
