US Renal Care is currently looking for a Registered Supervising RN / Charge RN for our dialysis facility. This position provides oversight and direction to all direct care staff that provide dialysis/nursing care in the clinic, in conjunction with primary position held as Charge RN. The Charge Nurse is proficient in providing hemodialysis therapies to patients with chronic renal failure and is responsible for supervising staff performing daily patient care. The Registered Nurse or RN must possess the physical capabilities to successfully perform the job as stated in the physical requirements. Adherence to all policies and procedures is required. Responsibilities: Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing dialysis nursing services and functions as nursing supervisor Supervise and manage and may give direct patient care to the extent of performing efficient, safe dialysis, if allowed by state regulations. Demonstrates effective staffing, as appropriate with staffing ratios per state regulations, under the direction of the Administrator. Participates in the clinic's QAPI activities. Must be a full time employee of the Company and available to clinic staff during time clinic is open. Perform duties as outlined in nursing services Perform duties at all times within limitations established by and in accordance with company policy and procedures, applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Assists Administrator in interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions of center staff. Requirements: Current nursing license in the applicable state. Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors. Meet CMS minimum requirement of 18 months experience in providing nursing care, including 6 months experience in providing care to patients on maintenance dialysis. Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment. Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
