Position Summary Work with CAD systems creating, modifying, and releasing drawings and word drawings under direct supervision of a Regional Operations Manager or an ABM Engineer.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:* Ability to work in a fast paced environment* Provide accurate field takeoff of mechanical and/or electrical utility systems in medical treatment facility and/or laboratory environment* Update existing drawings to "as-built" status* Be able to work as a team with facility, operations and government* Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, and DoD standards* May be responsible for some design elements* Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or Government drawings or specifications* Will use the accepted drawing standards as guidelines* Coordinate filing, storage nomenclature of drawing sets being revised* Maintain, support and operate CAD stations, plotters and software* Make recommendations for effective and efficient operations* Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations, on site* Performs other duties as assigned.* Travel within two primary job locations in the Forest Glenn and Aberdeen, Maryland, areas, and other sites as necessary.Minimum RequirementsQualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
