The Director of Admission reports directly to the Head of School and serves as a member of the Administrative Team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Managing the admission process by identifying candidates, touring families, testing, and new student orientation by utilizing available resources to conduct research on internal and external factors that may affect enrollment.Working closely with the marketing professional to maintain a robust marketing presence through promotional pieces that project a clear image of our school,Maintaining statistics on all aspects of the process. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred5 years of admission experience, preferably in independent schoolsProficiency in computer office software useExcellent communication and organization skillsEnergy, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor Company Description: St. James Academy provides an exceptional education for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The academic program includes accelerated instruction in math and reading, as well as technology integration with iPads, laptops, Smart Boards, Lego Robotics, and design software for our 3-D printer. The World Language curriculum begins in kindergarten as a cultural exploration, continuing through as a key subject in our middle school. The arts program includes visual arts, chorus, band, instrumental music, as well as three after-school musicals per year. To further enhance literacy and invest in the arts, the school sponsors an artist-in-residence program and a visiting author series. The Middle School athletics program offers students the opportunity to choose from nine competitive sports. St. James Academy is one of the few schools authorized with the prestigious International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. This program lays the foundation for a studentas success moving on to the highest academic levels in high school, college, and beyond.
