Lead Analyst - International Services Finance
Job Description: Responsibilities:Conduct monthly review of financial results for assigned lines of business.Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to increase revenue, decrease costs, gain efficiencies, improve fiscal controls or improve operational capabilities within assigned lines of business.Coordinate with internationally based finance staff to ensure ARC priorities and controls are enforced.Provide analytical support for grant proposals creation, especially creating budgets and ensuring adequate funding.Monitor the disbursement of funds for field operations and other International Services activities.Provide oversight and guidance for identifying, recording, and reporting financial transactions.Assist in designing effective and efficient business processes, systems, and controls. Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects.Complete ad-hoc projects/assignments as needed. Self-motivation Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience) in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, in addition to a minimum of seven years professional experience. Experience using large scale automated financial systems (ledger, budgeting and reporting) and spreadsheets/databases required.Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting applications suitable for field financial management required.Field experience within international relief and development programs strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of US Government rules and regulations is preferred.Occasional business travel may be required.
