UFAC Data Scientist
Applied Research Associates, Inc. has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional scientist or engineer to support a multi-disciplined team that develops methodologies, processes, and technological applications for detecting, locating, identifying, physically and functionally characterizing, modeling and assessing tunnels. The position will require the individual to be expert in data science analysis with various intelligence big data sets such as OSINT, GEOINT, and SIGINT. Advanced experience with developing trends, producing pattern analysis, and producing predictive analysis is required. The position develops analysis reports and briefings detailing methods of analysis to support other intelligence analysis.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Required Skills:* Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering discipline* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills.* Ability to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible to laymen and senior-level government representatives.* Ability to clearly express in writing technical analysis results and site characterizations.Required Experience:* 10-12 years of experience in data science and analysis for evaluating trends and patterns, and producing predictive analysis.* Top Secret/SCI clearance* Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Desired Qualifications:* Master's degree in science or engineering field or equivalent degree.* Top Secret/SCI ClearanceCOMPANY INFORMATION:Applied Research Associates, Inc. is an employee-owned international research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences.
