You are an experienced professional with a strong working knowledge of the FISMA security framework. As an Information Assurance Analyst, you'll support the System Test and Evaluation and Security Authorization activities for a network and informations systems in compliance with the RMF and FISMA frameworks. Your daily tasks will be to review, develop and update security documentation through the steps of the RMF process. This involves reviewing audit logs, configuration settings and rules set to validate compliance. Additionally, you'll conduct testing activities to identify threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for security controls to ensure that remediation and patches are implemented. You'll coordinate the remediation of PO&M findings and develop exceptions. Salary: Up to $90,000/yr What's In It For You Supporting a well-known client while enjoying the great benefits (like 100% employer paid health insurance), 401k and flexibility Dynamic work environment allows opportunity to cross-train and receive exposure in other cybersecurity disciplines What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience supporting FISMA / RMF and/or ST&E activities; CISA or CISSP certification strongly desired Demonstrate familiarity with security documentation to include System Security Plans, FIPS 199, Contingency Plans, Impact Analysis, etc. Experience identifying or verifying file integrity, data encryption and active network devices, open ports, vulnerabilities and weak passwords.
