Program Overview: This effort supports an Information Assurance and Certification & Accreditation support services contract, under a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) project, located in Washington DC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Must possess technical knowledge for performing Information Assurance (IA) and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) development tasks utilizing DoD and relevant industry security standards, policies and procedures. Support project office in obtaining authorities to operate (ATO) and preparing packages for evaluation and submission to the Designated Accrediting Authority (DAA) and/or Authorizing Official (AO). Assist in the review of engineering change proposals, provide compliance recommendations and review user standards in accordance with security and information assurance requirements. Work with project office in attaining overarching government requirements for Federal, State and local agencies to certify the security controls of C4ISR information systems. Conduct research and provide recommendations to the government regarding system risks, assessments and security controls.
