Futurecare Baltimore is seeking an RN Education Specialist The Education Specialist works independentlyunder limited supervision, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates education programs based on adult learning principles, ANA Professional Development Scopes and Standards of Practice, Nurse Practice Act, and State & Federal Education Standards. In addition, provides corporation support, new employee orientation, employee health, and employee infection control, and mentoring of corporation staff. As a part of the team, supports system-wide education programs in addition to specialty based initiatives. Position requires flexibility of schedule, creativity, teamwork, and excellent communication skills. Works in partnership/collaboration with other staff members and pro-actively identifies and provides for the customer needs using FutureCare customer service and corporate compliance standards. QualificationsCurrent Maryland RN Licensure**Progressive experience in an acute or long term care setting requiredB.S. Degree in nursing or related field preferred.Completion of Train the Trainer course or two years' teaching experience preferred.Three years' experience in clinical nursingMust have a current CPR HealthCare Provider or CPR for Professional Rescuer certification preferred.American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR Instructor experience preferredBasic Computer Skills (Microsoft office suite) preferred May have specialty certification, preferred.
