Sales Development Manager (West Coast Territory)
Our software client is looking for a Sales Development Manager. Their primary purpose is to lead Inside Sales Executives (ISEs) and Sales Development Reps (SDRs) to generate incremental pipeline and license revenue and will be measured on both accepted pipeline target and revenue target. ISEs and SDRs work with Account Executives to manage noncomplex opportunities (below country deal size threshold) with specific solutions in key and Enterprise installed base accounts or covered non-named accounts, leveraging partners to identify incremental opportunities and generate revenue. Tasks and Responsibilities . Manage and support the team to develop and execute sales strategies to profitably grow revenues within existing accounts and expand the account base in target markets . Ensure healthy make-up of deals including the maximization of standard rate maintenance combined with new revenue . Effectively and accurately managing forecasting and pipeline reporting related to revenue, and specific accuracy around timelines for forecasting . Performance manage, lead, coach and mentor Inside Sales with a hands-on, team-oriented approach About You . BA/BS degree or equivalent and familiarity with internet technologies . 5+ years' experience . 2+ years successful management of Inside Sales / Account Development Team . 5+ years of experienced solution-based selling value . A background which includes having established and executed call plans, orchestrated account-planning sessions and effectively executed account strategies . Extensive experience in successfully managing a sales team within the enterprise solutions industry . Basic understanding of BPMS, SOA, B2B, EAI Technology, marketplace and technical concepts . Demonstrated success and track record of consistent performance (quota achievement) and accountability using multiple sales approaches . Ability to build relationships and interact with customers and prospects via phone, web and email . Must be able to clearly present the Company's solutions offerings to a variety of business and IT audiences . Experience in using Salesforce.com is a plus What You Can Expect .
