Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Network
Subject Matter Expert- Networks This position will be a part of a team providing technical security guidance for the DoD in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This process involves research and analysis in lab environments as well as product and infrastructure knowledge. The SME may also be responsible for answering questions from the field concerning the technical details of the requirements as well as other possible solutions to meet the intent of the requirements. This may involve risk assessment analysis and providing recommendations to maintain a secure environment without jeopardizing the operations of the technology. Skills/Knowledge Required and/or Desired: . DoD Network experience; (for example, JRSS, JIE, DECC, DoD DMZ, Enterprise Architecture) . Manage personal task schedule to ensure timeline milestones are met and projects stay on track . Networking technologies such as firewall, switches, routers .
