Looking for a tech-savvy, motivated, and dependable service-desk manager to coordinate with our client care, technical support, product development, and other various technical tasks. This is a full-time position and we are flexible in working around your schedule. Self-learners thrive at our company. If you love playing with Linux (Ubuntu), and working with custom hardware or embedded systems, this is the job for you! The Client Care Manager is responsible for coordinating technical support and service to all our corporate clients and partners. The job requires handling high-level escalation of technical and management issues. Also the job includes enhancing cooperative interdepartmental communication, long-term planning, and implementing key initiatives as well as the direct supervision of the service desk. REQUIREMENTS 3-5+ years of relevant experience in the IT field 2+ years of staff management experience Act as a resource and mentor to service desk staff Expertise in Linux, kernels, and embedded systems YOU ARE AN IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE THESE QUALITIES: - Have significant experience with Linux (Ubuntu, preferred) and BASH scripting - Experience with embedded systems - Have led teams in customer facing roles - Fundamental knowledge of HTML / PHP / MYSQL / JAVA / PHP or any other languages - Above all, have the desire to learn and grow the team Pay: Based on skills and experience.
