Unit Description Retail Manager 3 opportunity within Corporate Services for multiple Micro Market Operations across the corporate headquarters enterprise for a national financial institution located in the greater Washington DC area (Primary location is Reston, VA). The Retail Manager will oversee a small corporate cafe in Reston and manage 8 micro-markets across the client enterprise in DC, VA, MD, and GA. This position will order all product and manage inventories across all units. The Retail Manager will use customer feedback and sales reports to keep our offerings fresh and appealing to customers. This position will manage all related financials (with some controller support) to include budgeting; pricing; flash reporting; etc. The Retail Manager will manage a staff of 5 employees, including all scheduling, payroll, training & development. This role will also provide relief manager coverage for other cafe units and will assist with enterprise-wide retail operations, including promotions, new products, displays, and signage. We are looking for a manager who can identify and maintain financial goals, ensure service standards, and create/implement promotions with an unceasing focus on customer needs & changing expectations. The successful candidate will be able to manage autonomously while at the same time interacting with the rest of the management team in a supportive function.Position Summary Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
