The Project Foreman position requires an individual to show that he/she has the experience and professionalism to function in this role. A Project Foreman shall have several years experience in the telecommunications field. They must demonstrate the ability to not only meet but exceed customers expectations. A Project Foreman must be capable of running all types of projects both large and small while successfully delivering them on time and under budget. The Project Foreman is responsible for the quality of every install assigned to him/her. Minimum Requirements: A minumum of 4 years experience Leadership skills A valid drivers license Reliable transportation Abilities Required:Must be capable of successfully managing workforce.Must be able to manage budgets for labor and materials.Capable of accurately completing paperwork both daily and weekly in a timely manner.Able to communicate effectively with internal/external customers.Able to present themself in a professional manner.Knowledgeable with all EIA/TIA standards.Capable of identifing, pulling, terminating and labeling Cat. 5e, 6 and Fiber Optic cable.Installing support structures (J Hooks, support rings, cable slings and cable tray/ladder rack)Capable of reading and understanding blue prints and statement of work.Capable of delivering projects on time and budget.Knowledge of termination practices.Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting,termination, and testing both copper and fiber cables.Knowledge of setting up and programming Fluke tester.Capable of teaching and training Technicians and Lead Technicians.Must be Hilti Certified in fire stopping.Must be familiar with OSHA regulations.Must be able to climb a ladder.Ability to lift over 80 lbs.Must be BICSI certified or is starting the process.Must be capable to assist with site surveys and bidding.
