Financial Analyst for High Profile DC Based Non Profit
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain financial models including forecasting, variance analysis, Balance Sheet and P&L Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis of actual result vs. budget and/or other forecastBuild and analyze integrated financial statementsDevelop comparable company analysesReview detailed forecasts and analyze KPI trends Light filing, record keeping, office management and administrative dutiesJOB REQUIREMENTS3-5 year's experience as an analyst in a financial planning/accounting group with significant and substantial experience in financial analysis Able to work in a high-energy environment with multiple competing priorities High level of attention to detail, able to produce high-quality work product and review one's own work for accuracy and responsiveness to project objectives Management/development of rolling forecast models Evaluation of companies, businesses and/or products/projects Extremely proficient with all analytical tools and software (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, etc.), including Macros and Pivot Tables. Excellent verbal/written and presentation skills and able to effectively communicate with senior management in a very fast paced environment BS in Accounting, CPA or CPA Candidate a BIG PLUSDESIRABLES Experience with Quickbooks, MicroSoft Dynamics or other accounting software desired. Fluency in Spanish also desired, but not mandatory Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be a problem solver and maintain a "Can Do" attitude.
