Scope of Work: Department of State Office of Foreign Missions contract in Washington, DC on which we provide system development and full spectrum IT support services. The project needs a Junior .Net Software Developer to develop Web-based applications in a .NET, MVC, Oracle, and Windows environment. Work in a team environment to research, design, develop, and support a software system which is undergoing a modernization and consolidation of multiple legacy systems into one modernized system. Responsibilities: Work closely with team members, and using Business Rules and User Stories as a basis: design, develop, and implement .NET applications utilizing Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, ASP.NET, C#, and Oracle following MVC design patterns. Participate in Agile Scrum SDLC activities. Perform unit and integration testing of software/systems. Work in a team environment with other .NET developers developing new Web-based applications. Support developing Agile SDLC phase documentation. Interact with, and support system users. Qualifications: BS/BA in Computer Science or directly related field (eg, Information Technology, Information Science, etc) or 3 years of related experience or equivalent. 1 - 3 years experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, and C# Experience conducting unit and integration testing Preferred: Knowledge and experience using MVC design patterns Experience with Oracle SQL Server Reporting Services Team Foundation Server.
