This is a full-time, permanent position for an experienced, conscientious welder. Responsibilities would include producing metal products according to employer specifications; reading, interpreting, and following two and three dimensional diagrams; and keeping a clean, inventoried work station. Candidate also needs to be able to use basic power tools, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms, and be skilled in multiple facets of welding and fabrication. Education/Certifications Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Technical School or Associated Degree preferred Welding Certifications: 6G pipe for TIG and Stick Experience Required and Desired: At least two years working as a welder or trade school completion Able to regularly lift 50+ pounds Clean driving record Well organized and able to handle simultaneous and multiple projects Team player and goal oriented Adept at repetitive tasks Proficient welding with stick, TIG, and MIG; structural and pipe preferred Proficient with grinders, drill, drill presses, band saws, etc. Experience with stainless steel and steel required; aluminum preferred. Job Tasks Read, interpret, and follow engineering/mechanical drawings, specifications, and bills of material Operate power tools, hand tools, and other tools common to the welding trade Produce metal products according to employer specifications Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt components to obtain required configurations and positions for welding Measure and calculate dimensions to be welded Complete quality work checks for accuracy Identify and document any component part defects Maintain a well organized work station Clean and polish finished assemblies Assist mechanical assemblers as necessary in final assembly of products Some travel, as necessary, to complete projects, up to 10% Company Description: ESI Total Fuel Management is a dynamic, small and team-oriented entrepreneurial engineering and manufacturing company guided by Christian principles.
