Symplicity is looking for a Content Writer as a new addition to our Marketing Department! The Content Writer will be responsible for creating new and targeted content for each Symplicity market: higher-ed, commercial and government. He/she will work directly with both our Digital Marketing Associates and our Director of Marketing to optimize content across all channels, including web, email and social media. The person in this role manages consistent copywriting and editing for all marketing collateral. Job DutiesCopywriting and editing for all digital contentConsistent output and content generation, including blog posts, ads, sales and marketing emails, marketing collateral (brochures, case studies, etc.), press releases, program conferences and presentation outlinesEnsuring the maintenance of brand voice in all outgoing content and consistency with company's writing style guideAssisting with setting up email sends and other marketing tasks as neededWorking closely with the Design team to delegate tasks and meet project deadlines QualificationsExcellent writing and editing skills are non-negotiable; please submit 3-5 writing samples, preferably relating to past marketing or social media campaignsAbility to work under tight deadlinesConfidence to act autonomously coupled with ability to function as part of a teamAbility to communicate effectively both within the marketing department and with other departments in the organizationComfortable using or learning CRM and email marketing softwareBachelor's degree requiredPrevious copywriting experience in a marketing setting preferred This position is not remote.
