Panum is hiring a Project Manager (Mid-Sr. Level) with experience working for the Federal Government (as a contractor or employee). PMP certification is required. Must have hands on experience with complete SDLC, planning, execution, implementation and follow-through. This position is in the DC area and is at the DHS-FEMA division. Seeking for a candidate with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a project manager. Master's Degree preferred. Additional responsibilities;Directs and leads the delivery of highly complex IT Grants Management applications and systems.Provide Program Management, Operations and Sustainment issues and execute tasks of all grant systems.Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.Coordinate with business SME s, testing team and production support team for the overall implementationExperience with complete SDLC, planning, execution, implementation and follow-through.Directs the application of various technical disciplines such as User Support, Test and Evaluation, Training, Communication, Configuration and Policy management.Responsible for all program oversight, including planning, directing, and managing cross-functional team members.Leads meetings with executive business partners and technology leadership to understand business goals and solutions needs, including participation in business requirements definition.Responsible for developing detailed project charters and plans, specifying goals, objectives, strategy, scope, budget, scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, work breakdown structures, use case, test case, and training needs, as necessary for all project assignments.Identifies, tracks and manages program level risks and issues. Ensures the sequencing of projects is appropriate at the program level.Functions as central point of program communication and status for program team members, stakeholders, management and executives. Communications are professional, timely, and clear and present the correct level of information based on audience.Accountable for adherence to established delivery standards and industry best practices to insure successful project delivery leads to the overall program goals being achieved. Qualifications5-7 years of project management experience.Master's Degree Preferred, BA/BS Required.3 years of program management experience across multiple Grants related IT projects is required.Project management experience in grants management system environment preferred.Experience in Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) is preferred.
