New Home Community Sales Manager
The Community Sales Manager is responsible for the new home sales and customer management in a community. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: greet, qualify and close prospective purchasers, distribute sales and marketing information to buyers and brokers, service and manage all buyers until settlement and manage all required sales reports. Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred but not required or 4-5 years experience in New Home SalesDemonstrated successful sales record with 3-4 years of experience in residential New Home Sales Skills & Abilities:Proficient knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and web based programs and Microsoft Office ApplicationsMaintain computer proficiency with computer programs and currently used systems and softwareExcellent organizational skills, detail oriented, demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasksExcellent communication skillsStrong negotiating skills Requirements:Working knowledge of blue prints, site plans, grading plans and of the overall construction processWorking knowledge of current mortgage financing and the ability to qualify prospects and calculate mortgage paymentsIn depth knowledge of new homes sales contract agreements and the settlement process Develop product knowledge of house type(s), specifications, standard features and optional items, remaining currentDevelop in depth knowledge of the area surrounding the community and the benefits to prospective buyers Company Description: Miller and Smith, Inc. is one of the Washington Metro areaas leading premier residential home builders, headquartered in Tysonas Corner, VA., with ongoing projects in Northern VA and Maryland area.
