Lead Therapist - Early Intervention (PT or OT)
Early Intervention Lead Therapist Job Description Qualifications1. Graduate of an accredited university with a BS, MA, MS, or Associates degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy.2. Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).3. Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric and/or early intervention services Job Responsibilities1. All job responsibilities outlined in the discipline specific job description.2. Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.3. Ensure programs of all disciplines are running smoothly.4. Train/supervise junior staff , interns, new hires and staff as indicated.5. Act as a leader/mentor to all members of the EI team.6. Perform quality control visits with staff to monitor treatment sessions and child's progress. Report results to clinical director.7. Ensure proper billing codes and practices8. Attend state, departmental, or supervisory meetings as indicated.9. Assist in developing and implementing new programs as needed.10. Act as a liaison between staff and clinical director.11. Assist with orientation duties, onsite/phone supervision and clinical training sessions12. Ensure staff compliance with all Tender Touch Rehab's policies and Procedures, as well as state and federal regulations/guidelines13. Stay abreast and implement any new state/county policy regulation or requirement14. Monitor staff's performance and report such to clinical director.15. Conduct periodic staff meetings/courses and/or in services.16. Perform other duties as indicated. Physical Demands Employee should be able to transfer patients, lift weights, transport patients and perform treatment on the mat. Employee should be knowledgeable in and exercise good body mechanics during patient treatment.
