The Superintendent will be responsible for the overall onsite management of a project from inception to final acceptance. This includes, but is not limited to; all onsite planning, organization, and control of the work in the field to insure the timely and accurate completion of the work. The superintendent shall be the conduit of information from the office to the field. Specific responsiblities include but are not limited to:Work with PM to arrange for and coordinate all requirements for mobilizationOversee all onsite operations to ensure work is being performed in compliance with Contract Documents, on schedule and within budget.Work with the PM to procure and order all materials for self performed work.Manage scope and work of sub contractorsAssist in the management and adherence of the CPM schedule and provide accurate weekly forecast schedulesPrepare comprehensive project staging plans and gain requisite approvalsLead all pre installation conferences to insure all parties understand the requirements of the contract and related documents.Schedule all inspections and insure that all requisite permits are in place prior to the commencement of all relevant phases of the work.Responsible for insuring all LEED requirements are being met onsiteCoordinate trades to ensure they each have the necessary paperwork and documents to perform their scope of work.
