Conduct special education programming to students who have been identified on the Autism Spectrum and be able to implement instruction and behavioral interventions in accordance with each child's IEP. Organize & implement effective classroom delivery of service; work with all staff for effective implementation of all special education requirements; complete all necessary documentation and communication. Principal Results Expected: Be prepared and set high academic and behavioral expectations for students; demonstrate conduct in keeping with PYRAMID ethical standards; participates in training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills; complete all in-service and Act 48 hours. Maintain a safe and nurturing school environment. Profile: (Knowledge/Professional/Technical Competencies) High degree of familiarity with utilizing technology as part of the differentiation of classroom delivery of service and special education regulations and implementations in the classroom; familiarity with student educational and behavioral needs. Able to utilize research based modalities and approaches for students on the Autism Spectrum. Team player; confidentiality; safety; excellent communication skills; effective interpersonal relationships.
