Our client, a sales powerhouse that specializes in business supply, is looking for an upbeat and hard working Sales Manager with experience overseeing a team of 4-8 B2B outside sales reps. Our client is family owned and looking for the right person, sales with integrity! The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of sales management (business to business sales is preferred), along with proven success motivating a team of "hunters" and holding them accountable! The Sales Manager candidate will be responsible for:Manage and develop the sales team in the Baltimore areaDevelop and maintain budgeted staff of professional Sales Representatives through proper selection, development, and motivation to meet or exceed location's new account sales goals.Monitor up to 8 salesperson's activities, performance, and effectiveness weekly via field observation and PR sessions and take appropriate action where deficiencies exist.Accompany Sales Representatives on sales calls to observe skills and techniques and assist in developing Development Plans for skill improvement.Conduct weekly Planning & Review with each Sales Representative to provide assistance in achieving individual sales quotas.Conduct formal weekly evaluation of overall sales performance and effectiveness of each Sales Representative.
