Employee Benefits Customer Services Representative Quest Insurance is seeking an exceptional Insurance professional with proven experience to become part of a dynamic team in a fast growing independent insurance agency. The candidate should have proven discipline, drive, commitment and specialize in Employee Benefits customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Primary Duties and Responsibilities: First line of response for all inquiries from clients, prospects and carriers Responsible for the day-to-day servicing of new business and existing accounts Maintain client and prospect filing system Craft marketing campaigns for client development and retention Process enrollment changes Shop plans and rates with all carriers for prospects and renewal of existing clients Perform due diligence when shopping coverage and rates for prospects and existing client renewals, including coverage compliance Create accurate and easy-to-read comparison spreadsheets of plans and rates for the client Distribute and collect all necessary enrollment applications and documentation required Prepare Open Enrollment PowerPoints Identify cross-selling opportunities with existing customers for product lines not carried by agency Provide proactive risk management advice to existing clients resolving client issues before they become "problems" Perform other functions or tasks as directed by management Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills Three years of hands-on experience supporting employee benefits sales and interaction with vendors A thorough and complete understanding of the health insurance industry, carrier, and products Highly motivated, works well with minimal guidance Must have the ability to multi-task while still being detailed oriented in a fast paced and dynamic environment Have experience in relationship building with clients and businesses Excellent communication and interpersonal (written, verbal and oral) skills is essential Able to maintain confidential data Must be able to work with a client-centric and decisive manner under tight deadlines Demonstrate proficiency with all MS Office products The following skill sets and attributes are desired: BS, BA and/or over 5 years of relevant work experience in insurance Background in a service orientated environment Comprehensive working knowledge of employee benefit products, ACA and industry changes Must either have a license in Health and Life insurance, or the willingness to obtain one within (120) days of date of hire This position offers a competitive compensation package in a stable and appealing work environment.
