AbleVets has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Cloud Engineer to support our VA customer. This position is located in our Chantilly, VA office and will involve travel to the customer offices in Washington, DC several days per week.Essential Functions and Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate has experience in cloud market technologies and can apply evolving cloud technologies, techniques, and frameworks to create and deliver client solutions. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to move clients from legacy environments to cloud tools and processes. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:a€ cents Analyze user needs to determine functional requirementsa€ cents Define problems to develop plans and requirements for complex system architecture, networking, and telecommunications systemsa€ cents Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationshipsa€ cents Identify skills and resources required for tasksa€ cents Develop and implement a technology roadmap and engineer cloud-based solutionsa€ cents Implement multiple solutions and/or lead one or more engineers in developing solutions and migrating existing applications and services to the cloud Minimum Requirements: a€ cents Bachelora€ (TM) s degree in Computer Science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical disciplinea€ cents 5+ yearsa€ (TM) experience in IT with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, systems analysis, and application developmenta€ cents 5+ years Contact Center experience with multichannel capability, CRM, and reportinga€ cents 5+ yearsa€ (TM) experience with Avaya and/or Cisco CUCM UC experience, including IM, presence, softphone, IP hard phone, voicemail integration, desktop video, desktop sharing, web conferencing, etc.a€ cents 2+ yearsa€ (TM) experience with video conferencing technologiesa€ cents Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, product-line hardware and softwarea€ cents Ability to work with VOIP/Telephony and UC infrastructure and architecturea€ cents Exceptional analytical and problem solving skillsa€ cents Candidates must be US citizens and will be required to undergo a background investigation Desired Qualifications; a€ cents Data Center consolidation experiencea€ cents Enterprise Voice experiencea€ cents Avaya CM 6.3 or Cisco UC Manager experience .
