Senior Tax Accountant
An established CPA firm is seeking an experienced CPA or an individual actively working toward a CPA license to join our team. While providing professional services to Individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts and Pension Plans, we are dedicated to providing expert advice to the entrepreneurial minded clientele.To be considered as a candidate for this position you must possess A MINIMUM of 4-6 years of Public Accounting experience preparing tax returns for individuals as well as business entities. The ability to prepare and review tax returns for various types of entities is a must. A desire to assist in expanding business growth and efficiency with fresh ideas is also highly desired.Other qualifications and knowledge requirements include:4 Year Degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong computer and research skills, including experience with Quickbooks, Sage (Peachtree) and ExcelAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clientsStrong communication skillsSelf-motivation, flexibility and an internal drive to meet deadlinesA positive and professional attitude A desire to learn and grow professionallyResponsibilities will include preparing, reviewing and/or assisting with:Federal/State/Local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trustsTax compliance and tax planning servicesTax researchInteraction with clientsPayroll reportsFinancial statementsOur office is conveniently located next to the Bethesda Metro Station.
