Description PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The Senior Analyst, Sales Enablement supports the implementation of detailed product, services, and sales learning solutions for all Retail Sales. They will complete on-going assessments to identify and solve for current skill gaps and address future skill requirements. This role also measures success directly linked to long-term business objectives. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Item Accountability 1 Support a retail sales learning strategy for all segments of the sales force, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and sales targets. 2 Assist with designing, developing and delivering learning programs that allow our sales professionals to quickly gain product and services knowledge and demonstrate and explain these products to customers. 3 Manage current training material and organize and schedule enablement sessions and peer-to-peer coaching sessions. 4 Collaborate with Principal, Sales Enablement in working with regional sales leaders, business development executives, and human resources to ensure sales learning & development supports individual business goals and strategic objectives. 5 Encourage, promote and maintain a learning culture which drives performance improvement and strong business results. 6 Creates on-line learning management system to be used by the sales training team, and sales professionals. Employ a variety of instructional approaches, methods and delivery platforms to maximize effectiveness (web, on-the-job, self-paced, and facilitator led). 7 Prioritize learning needs in a way that balances short- and long-term goals, resource constraints and anticipated impact to the business. 8 Drive a coaching culture throughout the sales organization through on-going training at sales meetings, manager meetings and other venues. 9 Support the development, implementation and measuring of e-learning solutions that solve for specific business problems. 10 Benchmark initiatives and programs to best practice, researching and keeping informed of current trends within the Learning & Development field and adopt new approaches and delivery channels, as appropriate. Qualifications POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: Preferred: . BA or BS degree required . Superior analytical, strategic and quantitative skills . Sales experience at a national level in a complex retail environment . Ability to train and coach sales people to maximize performance . Strong organizational skills including ability to manage multiple projects . Experience in successfully designing, developing, delivering and improving high-quality learning solutions . Creative problem-solving skills, strong business acumen, an understanding of group and corporate dynamics, integrity and the demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment in complex situations . Ability to successfully navigate and influence strong personalities within a complex business landscape . Innovator in uses of technology for training . Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint . Excellent communication and facilitation skills . All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English. . Able to work closely in a team environment to collectively drive results. . 3-5 years experience in successfully designing, developing and delivering high-quality sales skill training in a retail sales organization . Prior experience selling commodities at a national level in a complex retail environment a plus . Prior experience in the retail power and/or gas business a plus . Experience working with Articulate and/or other e-learning training design tools . Previous work with the Success Factors learning management system .
