A premier Washington DC based law firm has an opening for a Benefits Coordinator. The Coordinator works under the Benefits Manager. The benefits coordinator will assist with administering the Firm's health and welfare, leave and retirement plans for all offices of the Firm (DC, NYC and CA) This position provides service to all Firm employees and will be a resource regarding benefits related matters. Other responsibilities include coordination of firm wide leave of absence and disability program and will work closely with the HR and Payroll team to ensure the accuracy of benefits deductions. Qualified candidates must have a college degree and four (4) to five (5) years in Benefits Administration/Human Resources experience at a law firm or professional services. Additional requirements include and up-to-date knowledge of federal and state (FMLA, disability, workers compensation, etc.) laws and regulations, proficiency in HRIS systems, and advanced MS Office skill level.
