Position Summary:ValidaTek is currently looking for a Human Resources Administrator. This individual will perform HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the entire Human Resources team in supporting corporate and delivery personnel. Specifically, the Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Assist with administering various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and updating of policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manualAssist with employee relations matters including diagnosing problems, determining appropriate level of corrective action, coaching mangers, and reviewing corrective action documentation to mitigate risk and minimize legal actionAssist with maintaining human resource information system records and compiles reports from Deltek GCS and ADP Workforce NowAssist with the development and delivery of New Hire OrientationAssist with Career Development and annual review processAssist with filing EEO-1, Vet-100, and OSHA reporting annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to regulationsAssist with benefits administration to include enrollments and terminations, annual open enrollment, approving invoices for payment, claims resolution, and communicating benefit information to employees; Assist with ensuring ValidaTek is fully staffed by forecasting openings as well as advertising in effective waysAssist with entering all new hires into Deltek GCS, ADP Workforce Now, BeneTrac, & SuccessFactorsAssist with updating and delivering weekly and monthly HR metricsAssist employee out-processing and exit interviewingAssist with salary surveys and research wage and salary dataMaintain I-9 compliance and retentionOther duties as assigned.Responsibilities: Benefits AdministrationAssist with Employee Benefits set-up/maintenance to include maintaining all business systems, communicating benefits information to employees, and ensuring all vendors are notified of employee changesAssist with responding to employee inquiries regarding healthcare, dental plan, and other employee related benefits programs.Assist with auditing monthly insurance invoices.Training & DevelopmentAssist with developing, implementing, and monitoring training programs within the company.Assist with delivering/overseeing the delivery of training to individuals or groups of employees.Assist with compiling and presenting information to employees.Assist with deploying a wide variety of training methods.Assist with monitoring and evaluating company training program effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.Assist with tracking training requests, reimbursements, and completion certifications.ComplianceMaintain accurate records in the personnel files, including, but not limited to, documentation of employee meetings, benefit election forms, and new hire documents, as well as ensuring that they are kept confidentialManage inventory of Labor Law posters and distribute when there are changes;Maintain confidential employee records (salary, benefits, performance, equipment and discipline).Assist with filing EEO-1, VET-100, OSHA, COBRA and 5500 filing reporting annually.Human Resources Duties Assist with coordinating employee morale events as well as company community service projectsAssist with new hire orientation and coordinating on-boarding for all new employeesProcess pre- and post-offer paperworkPerform data entry for all employees in systems such as Deltek GCS, ADP Workforce Now, and BeneTracRespond to employment inquiries such as unemployment claims and employment verifications;Assist with updating and delivering weekly and monthly HR metricsMaintain I-9 compliance and retentionAssist with employee out-processing and exit interviews.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required:BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related fieldMinimum of 6-months Human Resources experienceAbility to perform under pressureHave an understanding of basic HR laws and compliance requirementsExcellent written/interpersonal communication skills with all staffing levels and clients/customersAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, resolve problems and recommend solutionsAbility to work outside scheduled hours in order to meet commitmentsReliable transportation for travel to site visits in the DC-metro areaSelf-motivated with the ability to complete assigned tasks with little supervisionDetail-oriented and meet strict deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteValidaTek is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
