Senior Accountant:CPA or CPA candidate desired.| Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent years of experience.| Three to four years of experience in either public accounting or in privateindustry, preferably within a law firm or other professional services type ofindustry. Audit background is preferred but exposure to partnershiptaxation issues a strong plus as well.| Familiarity with Elite.| Ability to supervise, mentor, train and evaluate.| Expert command of general ledger functions within a law firm setting.| Strong analytical and decision making skills.| Excellent customer service and team building skills.| Ability to differentiate and prioritize matters according to overall impact tothe firm.| Strong written and oral communications skills and ability to use same toexplain accounting type information to firm personnel at all levels withinthe firm.| Excellent computer skills including Business Intelligence, Crystal Reports,FRx and FAS. Strong preference for a candidate with demonstratedadvanced Excel and database skills. A self-starter must be able to graspnew concepts and procedures quickly. | Demonstrates advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including the ability to interpret and apply existing, new, or revised accounting principles and concepts to make financial (accounting) reports more accurate and more closely comply with requirements| Utilizes knowledge of firm accounting processes to manage general ledger account including creation and maintenance of backup information and reconciliation of significant accounts| Demonstrates superior customer service skills by serving as a resource to customers, clients, regional offices and financial institutions| Demonstrates an understanding of monthly and annual deadlines by effectively prioritizing tasks to insure that all goals are met within the specified time constraints | Maintains familiarity with department's workload and projects to effectively manage and delegate workflow assignments to staff accountant| Demonstrates ability to analyze and synthesize complex data using appropriate analytical software to provide meaningful information in a timely fashion| Serves as a resource for customers in resolving unprecedented, non-standard issues and problems; anticipates problems and develops recommendations for management resolution| Demonstrates an advanced ability to create financial spreadsheets, charts, and reports that contain relevant business performance data that can be clearly understood by financial and non-financial firm personnel| Demonstrates the ability to ask clear, concise, and relevant questions to obtain desired information to perform an audit/review| Demonstrates the ability to verbally and/or in writing explain accounting information to firm personnel at a level appropriate to the audience| Demonstrates the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a large volume of tasks and projects while dealing with conflicting and changing priorities and within strict deadlinesResumes as a WORD document to: In by JK
