Paralegal Transaction Specialist
Directs the transactions, regulatory compliance, and contract management functions, in a confidential nature to support the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and Legal Department in a manner that is compliant with all state, federal, and industry guidelines. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience in transactions, regulatory compliance, and contract management. Professional degrees including JD (Juris Doctor) and MBA are preferred. EXPERIENCE: 5 years corporate legal or equivalent experience, to include corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, contract drafting and negotiation, and contract management. LICENSE/CERT/REG: No special certification, registration or licensure is required. SKILLS: Excellent professional skills and advanced knowledge of corporate and/or health care legal work. Strong project management, computer, drafting, proofreading, research and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to work professionally and independently on assigned tasks and to complete assignments in a timely manner with great attention to detail. Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with corporate boards, state and federal agency personnel, and all levels of staff.
