Customer Service Associate - Filtration Technologies
Accountability Objective:The Customer Service Associate is responsible for communication with customers principally involving product information inquiries, orders, product specification, quotations, sample orders entry, manufacturing order entry and complaint resolution. The position delivers critical information to the customers within the Filtration Technologies goup. To proactively ensure information flow both to the customer and internal departments so we can deliver the products that the customer orders and meet their expectations.Principal End Results:Receive and record all customer orders into the business system and communicate the ordering information to the appropriate departments.Provide order confirmations with delivery dates to customers and provide customer follow-up as required regarding delivery and supply commitments.Accurately maintain orders on the business system.Follow-up on all non-order related customer inquiries.Coordinate and assist outside sales efforts providingdata and support to outside sales personnel including the delivery of samples and quotations for products. Provides suggestions and targets for sales personnel, keeping them apprised of customer activity.Coordinate all customer complaints through the Quality department as per estabished Quality procedures. (All should be entered into Salesforce)Work directly with Corporate Accounts Receivable personnel to maintain a good knowledge of customer credit status, credit holds etc.Produces customer sales, shipments, order and sales history reports for management team as needed.
