Mobility is the goalResponsible for installation and maintenance of all equipment and systems for Hanover locations (KW, Logistics Center, 5500 HUB and McSherrystown warehouse). This includes troubleshooting and repair of automated sheet metal production equipment, including lasers, panel benders, punches, wash system and water treatment equipment, as well as all other building related equipment. Responsible for control of operating budgets.of >$.6M in direct costs, as well as the consumable spend (utilities, paint supplies and chemicals, etc.)Determine work to be performed in house vs. work to be subcontracted. Identify and coordinate with external contractors.Review plans and proposals with manufacturing, industrial and electrical engineering personnel on specific apparatus or equipment and make recommendations.Plan and direct preventative maintenance program for lubrication, servicing and cleaning of equipment.Plan and retain history data on all equipment and systems.Direct, train and allocate necessary manpower needed in servicing particular systems and/or equipment. Maintain cordial working relationship with the local public utility companies, township and county officials.Guide and develop subordinates, develop and utilize effective working relationships with them to ensure success of Schindler plant. Administer Company policies and procedures in a consistent manner.Ensure all aplicable federal, state and local laws and staututes are adherred to with respect to all wastes disposed of, to include all apllicable EPA and PA DEP regulations. Mobility needs youAn Associates degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics or a related field, or the equivalent in education and experience. A minimum of five years of experience in maintenance, engineering or a related field, with electrical as well as mechanical background, HVAC, piping and compressors. This includes 3 phase electrical, mechanical, hydraulic (450 bar circuits) and pneumatic systems. Must be proficient with electrical repair/troubleshooting of AC/DC power supplies, motor controls, MIG, stud and spot welding equipment, computer controlled gauging systems, PLC's and SRC controlled equipment.
