The Carlos Rosario School islooking for diverse, multilingual professionals for a variety of rewardingpositionsDepartment: RegistrationSchedule: Academic School Year Schedule: Monday, Tuesday,Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMWednesday,12:00 PM - 8:30 PMSummer Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30AMFlexible weeks based on weekend & eveningoutreach events Primary Purpose of the Job: Responds to priorities as set byCAO by working collaboratively withvarious departments, such as Communications & the Academies, to expandexisting student outreach and recruitment efforts. The Outreach and RecruitmentLead will identify and build untapped partnerships/communities and recruit toenroll target populations to consistently meet expected enrollment targets andto boost enrollment. Additionally the incumbent will develop new and creative strategiesfor meeting the expected increased enrollment targets over the next 5 years.This position entails substantial evening and weekend work, as well as, workingout in the community. EssentialFunctions:Develops and leads recruitment and outreach plans for eventsincluding major registration activities, community event participation,postcard and flyer distribution, academy recruitment sessions, open houses andinternal school events as needed. At the same time, enlists staff acrossdepartments to attend and assist at these events.Knowledge and experience using Windows, Internet Explorer and MicrosoftApplications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Additionalknowledge of AdobeEstablishes or strengthen relationships with local businesses andinstitutions such as libraries, embassies, churches, and service providers thatserve our student population to advertise our school. Serves as the point of contactfor these organizations and institutions.Works in concert with Communications and Registration Departmentsto develop outreach plans under enrolled classes such as ESL for Familiesclasses and afternoon classes.Responsiblefor registration related updates on the school website and working with theCommunications Department to ensure registration related information isdisseminated through all additional outlets, eg. digital signs, homepage of website, newsletter,TVs, etc.Liaisonswith and supports Academy Directors in their efforts to ensure full programenrollment and develop internal and external outreach plans. Works with Communications Department to create streamlinedinternal and external promotional materials related to current and new classes.Liaisons between academies and other programs to establishconsistent and unified information sharing regarding needs and recruitmentacross both campuses.Creates and maintains an advertising and recruitment plan for theyear, including but not limited to a calendar of recruitment events for the RegistrationDepartment. Works with the Communications Department to developvideos/webinars for internal and external audiences, including currentstudents, teachers, and potential applicants, for both outreach purposes and toraise awareness about major registration events and procedures.Answerscomplex questions about registration that come through our Facebook page orinfo@carlosrosario.org that cannot be answered by the CommunicationsDepartment.Conductsresearch to determine best outreach practices, new recruitment tools, andtrends in engaging the school's target population. Additionally will analyze current studentdata to inform outreach efforts Ability to fluently speak a foreign language is preferred (Spanish/Amharic ). Required Education:Bachelor'sdegree (preferred in the field of Marketing/Communications or related) Required Core Competencies: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and social media applications Knowledge and experience using Windows, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
