M Marketing is looking to hire an entry level Customer Service Rep immediately. This position is located in Gaithersburg, MD Are you good with people?! We want YOU! We are looking for a competitive individual for this full-time position starting at the entry level. This candidate should be a motivated and self-driven individual that wants an opportunity within a thriving business. We are looking to train in the areas of customer service, customer retention, and customer acquisition. Job duties include: Resolves customer inquiries, billing issues and product/service concerns. Uses consultative approach to engage customers and sell products and services to new and existing customers. Access and update customer accounts through a face-to-face approach with the customer. Gains and maintains product/service knowledge, working knowledge of telecommunication technology and industry updates. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, use proper discretion in evaluating/elevating customer issues, work as a team player, and defuse difficult situations. Job Requirements Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills, demonstrated effective organizational and proactive problem solving skills confidence in working in an environment of complexity and ambiguity is required. 1-2 years customer service, hospitality, or sales experience preferred but not required. A demonstrated expertise in time management and organizational skills. A self-starter and highly motivated with an ability to work as a team member in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ability to work independently to deliver results, demonstrated leadership in community and/or professional organizations and the ability to travel overnight as required. The ability to use a creative side and develop strategic relationships with clients.
