Regional Field Visual Manager Mclean, Virginia - USJob Description The Regional Visual Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation & execution of Talbots? visual merchandising presentation & window execution in an assigned region of stores. This will be accomplished through solid partnership with the Director of Field Visual Merchandising and the Regional Director. The Regional Visual Manager develops and supports the District Manager to positively impact the company?s visual presentation in each store to ensure a consistent customer experience through the Region. Job Requirements Strong drive, ambition and passion for creating a customer first shopping experience.Develop & support District Manager & Store Manager capability, competency & accountability in all aspects of visual merchandising initiatives and standards.Lead effectively planned store visits with Director of Field Visual Merchandising, District Managers and/or Regional Directors.Frequent store/district visits to provide in the moment coaching, training & feedback to ensure consistent visual execution and standards within the Region.Based on store visits, develop a visual merchandising action plan with Regional Director and District Manager to address execution, interpretation, and development opportunities.Provide ongoing feedback and observations through each store and District Manager visits and recap forms.Oversee mapping & planning of monthly sets in partnership with the District Manager and store management teams.Create and develop strong partnerships with field leadership and corporate partners.Coordinate and conduct visual training sessions and workshops within the Districts/Region.Educate store teams and District Managers on standards and presentation.Work in partnership with the Director of Field Visual Merchandising and Regional Director to drive alignment that results in creating an inviting and customer first shopping environment.Resolve store specific merchandising opportunities that require adaptations based on Region, market, store architecture, inventory levels and business trends.Maintain communication with the Director of Field Visual Merchandising to ensure a brand right, consistent customer experience in each store, business needs and trends.Target needs for mannequins, fixturing, props, etc in the field and make recommendations to the Director of Field Visual Merchandising.Provide feedback, ideas & hindsight on current floorsets, tools and strategies.Keep updated on Visual and Operations memosActively participate in corporate floor sets and working sessionsAct as the visual lead for new store openings and remodelsAssess and grow visual talent within stores.Assist in interviewing and selection process of visual merchandising bench-strength within stores.VISUAL TRAINING:Provide Visual Merchandising training to Regional Directors, District Managers and Store Managers to assure complete understanding of company direction and visual concepts.Direct merchandise set-up and visual display at new store openings.MERCHANDISE SUPPORT:Partner with Director- Visual Merchandising on store specific visual merchandising initiatives to support business needs and trends. Target needs for mannequins, furniture, props, etc., in the field and make recommendations to the Director -Visual Merchandising. Internal and External Relationships:Develop and maintain an effective professional relationship with all levels within departments: Store Management, Field Management, Merchandising, Design, PR.Provide effective communication to the stores organization on visual/merchandising techniques.Number of Direct Reports and TitlesNoneEducation/Experience/Knowledge:Knowledge and experience at a level normally acquired through the completion of a BA degree in retail or related field.5+ years of retail visual experienceProficiency in Powerpoint, Illustrator and InDesignExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven leadership, training and coaching experienceProven ability to manage & prioritize multiple projectsEye for detailFrequent travel requiredAbility to work within a budgetApply Now
