The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the client and a project team. Responsibilities: * Planning: Partner with Subject Matter Experts and other project team members to help establish the definition of work breakdown structures, schedules and milestones * Process Development: Assist Subject Matter Experts and other project team members with defining and documenting implementation and operational processes * Reports and Communication: Track and report status on both an ad hoc and recurring basis. Assist the project team with the development of project presentation materials, utilizing advanced features of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Office tools as appropriate. Make updates to administrative documentation and the documentation of deliverables. Develop and manage project schedules under direct supervision of PMO staff. Work in conjunction with project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives. Participate in work as applicable * Meeting Support: Schedule various meetings and create meeting minutes. Record and track meetings, minutes and progress on action items * Action and Incident Management: Identify and track project tasks and status, project issues and risks and drive issue resolution under guidance of the PMO staff * Administrative Management: Manage team calendars and rosters * Project Documentation: Work with other project team members (both internally and externally) to determine the document contents. Maintain and track documentation on SharePoint * Documentation Support: Provide writing and editing support for team members, ensuring documents are properly formatted and that grammar, punctuation, and verb tense are correct * Perform additional duties as assigned The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and at least two (2) years of experience providing project management support (preferably in a government consulting environment) required; candidates without a Bachelor's Degree must have a high school diploma or GED and at least four (4) years of related experience * Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and desktop publishing skills * Well-organized, process-driven and flexible, demonstrated attention to detail, and able perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Intermediate-level understanding of Microsoft Project 2010 required with ability to generate and update project reports using Office and Project Management tools, such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project * Familiarity with project management principles, techniques, and tools are preferred * Experience assisting with the definition of work breakdown structures, schedules and milestones * Experience assisting with defining and documenting implementation and operational processes * Experience providing meeting support to include scheduling various meetings and recording and tracking minutes and progress on action items * Incident management experience * Experience working with other project team members to determine document contents and providing writing and editing support * Strong analytical ability * Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment * Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills Physical Requirements: * Ability to sit for up to 80% of time * Ability to lift or carry objects up to 25 lbs. * Frequent use of computer, telephone and office equipment (copier, fax, scanner) * Work is performed in an office environment with a low to moderate noise level Additional Requirements as per contract/client: * United States Citizenship * Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance * Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) EEO Statement: A committed and diverse workforce is our most important resource.
