CGI is seeking a Security Specialist.The Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring that system and IA security practices are being employed and followed by the team. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** The Security Specialist will provide a wide range of security related documents, and will ensure that all relevant application type IA requirements are incorporated into each new system release or software change request. Analyzes and defines security requirements. Provides subject matter expertise for computer security incidents, provides governance, monitors and enforces broad spectrum industry best practices, and is familiar with and follows NIST guidelines. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements the Information Security (IS) Plan and IS solutions, including penetration tests and vulnerability scans. Performs risk and gap analysis, and develops mitigation plans for all deficits. ? Experience with DIACAP C&A process ? Familiarity with secure coding and design principles including code review with a focus on security ? Familiarity with a static code analysis tool such as HP Fortify or SonarQube ? Direct systems security work experience with DoD Agencies, Marine Corps Systems Security ? Thorough Familiarity with Marine Corps logistics systems or other DoD logistics systems ? Experience with secure design and operation of logistics systems especially mainframe and mid-tier Marine Corps Logistics systems is highly desirable ? Familiarity with multi-factor authentication preferably DoD CAC authentication ? Experience with technology supporting data protection especially the protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) ? Knowledge of Risk Management Framework **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** ? Experience implementing system security principles in an IT environment preferably software development ? Thorough understanding of how business security risk and technical security risk is assessed and managed, including security policy and process development ? Excellent oral and written communication skills ? Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) Must have or be able to obtain Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification within 6 months of employment start date. **What you can expect from us:** At CGI, we?re a team of builders.
