We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department with a primary focus in reporting, clerical work and employee relations. Experience in Human Resources at the intern level or above is required. This position has scheduled hours of Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 3:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid meal period. The role is part-time, benefits eligible at 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time 40 hour role for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR regulations Compile reports from personnel databases Review and update HR information system records Enforce company policies, rules and regulations Communicate all relevant information to employees and job applicants Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts as directed Represent the company with your team at career fairs, networking events and in the community Qualifications: Previous experience in Human Resources at at least the intern level or 1-2 years experience in a related field is required General knowledge of labor and employment laws Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of comfort with internet research, social and traditional job boards and applicant tracking systems Strong organizational skills and a high level of comfort with Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail We have high but reasonable expectations for our team.
