Associate Vice President of Residential Services The Associate Vice President of Residential Services oversees two residential programs in Baltimore and the Bel Air, respectively. The programs utilize trauma informed practice to treat adolescents with high intensity needs, with the goal of increasing stability, safety, and well-being for the child. The management of these programs includes budget preparation and oversight, supervision of program leaders, ensuring compliance to State, local, and internal regulations, and program enhancement and development. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education, Licensure and/or Experience: Master's Degree in Social Work or related field and licensure. At least seven (7) years' experience working with children in the child welfare industry and five (5) years of progressive supervisory and administrative experience. Residential Child Care Program Administrator certification preferred. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the ministry. Ability to prepare written case documentation that becomes part of the clients' legal record Ability to apply Critical thinking and sound decision making skills to standardized and variable situations, in alignment with set policies and practices Other Requirements: Valid driver's license Proof of current Auto Registration, Inspection, and Insurance Driving Record (three years) from the state in which the driver's license is valid Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test Must submit to and pass random drug tests during employment Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state Arrow Child & Family Ministries is a Christian provider of child welfare and education services for abused and neglected children and families in crisis.
