2016 SBA Prime Contractor of the Year, Region VIII Apogee Engineering is seeking a Human Capital Subject Matter Expert (SME) located in Washington, DC . This is a part time, consulting position, and will not exceed 170 hours per year. The Human Capital SME will be supporting our OASIS Coast Guard efforts and shall provide a full range of expertise in human capital strategy and process implementation. Why work with us? What you will be doing: Advise on the development and implementation of human capital systems, products, and processes in accordance with recognized professional and legal guidelines Formulate innovative methodologies and techniques based on specialized fields related to human capital Create highly innovative solutions based on specialized technical or domain knowledge Client consultation, assessment, and advisory support Workforce strategic planning: needs assessment, forecasting, and planning Recruiting, hiring, and retention strategy and implementation Performance planning and evaluation strategy and implementation Training & development program strategy, design, and implementation Leadership development: program development and implementation, training, succession planning, coaching, and 360 Assessments Diversity planning and initiatives Organizational assessments / climate surveys Human Resource strategy and policy Knowledge transfer strategy and methods implementation What you will need to have: 15+ years of combined experience in one or more areas of Human Resources management, Human Resources program management, or Human Resources planning strategies Requires certifications in related areas such as PHR, SPHR, Human Capital Strategist (HCS), CMMI or PMMI, HCI class work /certifications.
