Job Summary: Automotive General Manager will ensure every customer is approached and treated the right way by being "hands on" involved in the day to day operations of all aspects of the business. We are looking for the involved General Manager who is on top of the intricacies of the position and responsible for the daily activities of their Dealership. The Automotive General Manager will set regular objectives and create a plan of action to accomplish these goals for all departments, while achieving 100% Customer Service. The Automotive General Manager will ensure that the dealership meets its Sales, Fixed Ops, and CSI objectives on a consistent basis. The Automotive General Manager will ensure that the dealership reaches its profit objectives on a monthly and annual basis. Job Requirements Overview: Automotive General Manager Hires, reinforces training, mentors, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all Sales Professionals. Automotive General Manager must be strong closer with strong leadership skills. Automotive General Manager actively supports, encourages, and motivates the Dealership personnel daily to maintain high moral, providing development and training when appropriate. Automotive General Manager exhibits a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability. Automotive General Manager appropriately coaches and counsels performance in a timely fashion. The GM creates monthly forecasts for all departments The GM oversees all department managers to ensure the top levels of performance and customer service while minimizing expenses. The GM achieves profit goals as forecasted and communicated to Dealer Principal. The GM establishes goals for all departments. The GM has full knowledge of all the operations of the Dealership. The GM assists with the development and execution of advertising and traffic/lead generation programs/activities. The GM stays abreast of manufacture programs and industry trends. Qualifications Minimum 3 years' experience with at least a mid-level volume dealership as General Manager. Strong Auto Sales and Sales Management Experience. Strong Closing Skills. Strong Ethics and Values. Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills. Excellent People Skills. Strong sense of Community. Must Pass Background and Drug Screen.
