Sr Manager, Sales & Marketing - Music for Business
Position Summary:SiriusXM is looking for an experienced and internally motivated sales and marketing professional to grow its Music For Business category. This key contributor will build out and manage the Music For Business Direct Sales channel.As a marketing and lead generation expert, the successful candidate will develop and implement multiple lead generation programs to build a robust pipeline of high quality leads to drive Music For Business conversion. In addition, this individual will lead the creation and implementation of all Music For Business marketing campaigns.Duties and Responsibilities:Create, implement, manage, and optimize marketing strategies that promote SiriusXM Music For Business and drive direct customer acquisition.Initiate, launch, measure, and analyze multiple lead generation/conversion programs (On-Line, Social Media, Mobile, SEO, Paid Search, Trade Shows, E Mail, In-Bound/Out Bound, etc.).Through lead generation initiatives, develop and manage an active pipeline throughout the life-cycle -- from hand-raising and trial to conversion.Develop and implement successful marketing programs focused on winning small and medium-sized businesses in the hospitality, fitness, medical, restaurant, franchises and financial verticals.Evaluate ROMI (Return On Marketing Investment) including acquisition metrics, budgeting, Cost Per Lead/Cost Per Action/Cost Per Sale and conversion.Implement the Music for Business web site strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders, and in alignment with the company's strategic initiatives.Manage creative, ad, and landing page testing schedule to drive improved campaign results.Collaborate with team members to develop point of sale, online and event marketing programs tailored to support partner/program objectives.Build out and manage the direct sales channel by implementing a fast, simple, and automated way for small (1-5) locations to purchase and use SiriusXM Music For Business.Grow SiriusXM's Music For Business subscriber base by achieving set sales goals for Direct Sales Channel and meet or exceed lead generation objectives.Proactively provide sales and marketing reports, including recommendations to optimize programs.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Management, or equivalent work experience.10+ years marketing experience with a proven track record of accomplishment in developing and implementing marketing campaigns in the Music, Cellular, Cable, Satellite Radio/TV or other digital/sat media delivery platforms.5+ years initiating, implementing and managing successful lead generation programs (On Line, Social Media, In-Bound, Out-Bound, E Mail, Mobile, Paid Search, Search Engine Optimization, Trade Shows, Content Marketing, Other).Proven results in App-based sales and marketing campaigns.5+ years track record of managing and growing a direct sales channel using web-based applications.Must have legal right to work in the US Requirements and General Skills:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.Innovative thinker and creative problem solver.Quick learner who pays careful attention to detail.Exhibits internal motivation, and patient determination in meeting challenges.Collaborates well in a team environment, and takes strong internal ownership for team success.Ability to work independently with minimal direction, yet seeks input and approvals as needed.Organized and plans well -- consistently follows through to completion of projects, programs, and initiatives on budget and in a timely manner. Technical Skills:Thorough knowledge and expertise using MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).Thorough knowledge and experience using Marketing Automation Software such as Bronto, Hubspot, Marketo, etc.
