The new Senior Manager will play a pivotal leadership role in the Southeast for our overall Functional Excellence & Integration team, and more specifically focus on selling and delivering Retail Merchandising & Supply Chain Services to address all aspects of a supply chain transformation, from strategy and operating model, to process and technology enablement, to Operational Run services. Our Retail Merchandising & Supply Chain offerings include: Enterprise & Seamless Service for Retail Digital Supply Chain, Advanced Analytics Operating Model Transformation Merchandising Retail Planning (Merchandising, Assortment, Space, Clustering, Floor and Allocation) Demand and Replenishment Planning Sales and Operations Planning Inventory Management Transportation Planning Distributed Order Management and Execution. Accenture combines both industry experience and skills across supply chain management to deliver high performance client solutions. Specific responsibilities for this role would include: Growth: The primary focus of the new Senior Manager will be to broaden the relationships at the leadership levels within current and potential clients and to translate this into new business opportunities. They will be seen as a credible business and commercially orientated content expert who works closely with the practice to win additional management consulting work with the existing accounts as well as acquire new accounts. Over time, they will be expected to grow a substantial business, build sustainable, long term and profitable client relationships at the C-suite and Board levels, and reinforce Accenture's position as a leading player in this market. Delivery: The new Senior Manager will be expected to lead, reinforce and expand a high caliber, fully integrated and cohesive team at each client. This leader will have management or oversight for both the senior client relationships and delivery of the engagement. Further, they will develop the more junior members of the engagement team, as well as coach the more senior team members and help them grow professionally and personally. Set the strategy and build propositions: The new Senior Manager will need to contribute to the evolution of key propositions that relate to business issues faced by the clients of the group. The successful candidate will be expected to drive practice development initiatives, new thought leadership and continue to build Accenture's reputation and brand in this area.The successful candidate is responsible for positioning Accenture as a thought leader in the Retail Merchandising and Supply Chain market. The right candidate will need to be able to quickly integrate into a fast-moving global professional services environment and has to be at ease building relationships with C-level client executives in the industry. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Management Consulting firm Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Retail Merchandising and Supply Chain Minimum of 3 years of experience selling and delivering transformational initiatives within the Retail Merchandising and Supply Chain space Subject matter expertise on business issues and strategic priorities within the Retail industry. Deep functional knowledge across End to End Retail Merchandising and Supply Chain functions Experiences in strategy development and implementation, process and organizational design (eg, shared service centers, Lean/Six Sigma, cost optimization) and change management.
