Description Job Summary: Works safely and directly with Team Leader and Warehouse employees regarding orders, vendors and product facilitation. In addition to performing all warehouse operation functions will assist Team Leader and performs duties in absence of Team Leader. Monitors and maintains warehouse handling and processing of parts, products and material. Duties will include performing all receiving and warehousing functions as established and assigned. Assist with the supervision of the Warehouse team and leadership in the absence of the Team Leader. Helps to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse to ensure the efficient use of all resources. Reinforces an environment conducive to achieving established performance goals. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Function): Receives products, parts, material and related equipment into inventory to include HVAC, plumbing, electronics, Home Improvement, electrical, water heaters and other related products and material used in sales, installation and service business .Verifies accuracy and acceptable condition of products. Updates receiving data in product and parts computer management system for inventory accuracy and fulfillment. Safely processes and fills products and parts for installation and service departments. Pulls parts from inventory for truck stock replenishment. Loads parts van, and assist installers in loading water heaters via fork lift and clamp trucks. May drive company vehicle to pick up or drop off products as necessary. Packages parts for delivery and shipping as needed. Stage products, parts and material for delivery to technicians and installation groups. Assist with determining returned goods to facilitate the returns by Inventory Control. Fills orders for all products to meet specified delivery dates. Removes shipping carts and crates as necessary. Participates in inventory counts both annually and cycles as needed. Monitors parts volume to ensure the fullest attention to out of service customers and maintains appropriate level of urgency during peak periods. Assist with the Supervision of all warehouse activities and employees during hours of operation in the absence of the Team Leader. Assist the Team Leader with monitoring daily warehouse performance, employee issues and scheduling requirements. Assist with managing the workload and reporting of performance statistics to Team Leader. Helps to train, monitors, coach and develops employees on job skills and IT systems. Applies comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures to support warehouse personnel and the Team Leader. Reinforces and promotes a safe warehouse operation and environment. Is able to perform all material handling functions as needed to support daily operations. Assist the Team Leader with guiding and coaching warehouse employees to provide the highest degree of friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and professional service to internal and external customers while achieving daily goals and objectives in parts & product receiving and the pulling material for daily productivity achievement Knowledge: Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of all warehouse procedures and processes, and all company products, services, policies, procedures and IT systems. Skills/Abilities: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to act with tact and diplomacy when interacting with suppliers, customers, technicians and installers. Strong coaching abilities. Must be computer literate with ability to input and retrieve receiving data of all products, parts and material. Education/Experience: High School graduate or equivalent with minimum one (1) year job related work experience with experience in fork lift and clamp truck for the fulfillment of receiving, warehousing and shipping of water heaters, parts and material. Other (Including physical requirements, working conditions, etc.): | Working hours vary in accordance with workload requirements. Rotating shift work, including weekends and evenings, is required. | Overtime may be required. | Dependability is essential. | May perform other duties as assigned.
